Operation Restoration is launching its new Job/Community Resource Center. The center is available to Veterans and the community at large.

This
NEW center will work with those who new to the workforce or those who are looking for new employment direction.




The Services Offered At The Job Center Are:

  • Assistance in learning how to navigate the internet to seek employment
  • Assistance in filling out applications on line and at sites
  • Learning how to use Microsoft Word and other applications on a computer
  • Assistance in developing a resume
  • Learning what information to reveal during an interview and dress code for an interview
  • Assistance in learning what type of job will suit your temperament


The Community Resource Center :

The Community Resource Center offers Veterans and community residents an opportunity to have access to the initial stages of filing applications without having to in long lines at DSS or the VA offices. We are currently able to offer the following as a site for The Benefits Bank of South Carolina:
       
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) –formerly the Food Stamp Program
  • Medicaid Benefits
  • Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Voter Registration
  • Lifeline (free cell phones)
  • State and Federal Taxes (free filing)
  • Property Tax
  • Immigration Forms


Through The Veterans Administration Online Services We Are Able To:

  • File for DDT-214 Forms
  • Check on benefits
  • Review appointments
  • File certain forms for VA benefits and insurance
